These formulas will help you calculate the amps to size your needed switch gear and wire size.

For three phase:
Take the KW x 1000, then divide by volts, then divide again by 1.732, and then divide that number by .80 this = AMPS

For single phase:
Take the KW x 1000, then divide by volts to find AMPS
